Ted Johnson's

 

Five men estranged from their respective families live together in a group home for disabled veterans. The men are confined to a life of pain and depression, when change comes. This change comes in the form of a kind spirit, unassuming and gentle, but present. After being touched by this spirit, these men life change forever.

 

Introducing Ted Johnson, ESQ:

 

Ted is a prominent criminal defense attorney in Atlanta, GA. Over the past twenty years, Ted has immersed himself into being the best lawyer he could be. Licensed to practice law in Illinois, Georgia and his home state of Indiana, Ted continues to lead a colorful life full of stories and experiences he shares with anyone willing to listen. With over 100 murder cases under his belt, Ted penned two books entitled Faces I Have Seen - A Memoir of Murder Vol. I & II – Lulu Press. The books contain twenty-five short stories of murder cases Ted has handled throughout his career. In 2003, Ted took a story from his second book and shot a television pilot called Atlanta Law, which he is currently shopping as an episodic television series.

 

In 2012, Ted wrote and produced his first play, Sunday Worshiper - directed by the renowned Herman LaVerne Jones, of Harlem, A Woody Kind protégé. In 2013, Zenobia Young  directed his second play The Boy and the Pink Bear, A love Story. This play was selected by Creative Loafing as the play to see in the City of Atlanta. In 2016, Ted worked with the esteemed Jeanette Blackwell on his TV pilot Atlanta Law. At the time, Ted was unaware of Ms. Blackwell’s extensive pedigreed theatre background until he called her to read for his project. Thereafter, one thing led to another and Ms. Blackwell was asked to direct his third play, In Three Days, Fellowship, Friendship and Forgiveness over the years, Ted has been a guest speaker at Georgia State University School of Law, the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, The Urban League; Entrepreneurial Center and various high schools across the United States.
